Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder: Ricky Hatton gives his prediction
Fury returned to the ring earlier this year following a two-and-a-half year break since his win over Wladimir Klitschko which earned the world heavyweight title.
He is now set to take on Deontay Wilder in an attempt to become world champion again with the American currently holding the WBC strap.
Fury is unbeaten in his boxing career, winning each of his 27 fights including a comfortable points victory over Francesco Pianeta last weekend.
And having viewed Fury prior to that bout, Hatton believes the 30-year-old can reach the summit again.
“I’ve seen Tyson in the gym and from what he’s done, he beats Wilder all day,” Hatton told Fight Hub TV. “He’s been absolutely phenomenal in the gym.
“He didn’t quite take it into the ring in the first fight back but the reasons for that are he had such a long training camp with a lot going on between the ears.
“He’s got the cobwebs out the way now and I see him beating Wilder all day long.
“The way he’s been in the gym, he’s looking better than he was before the Klitschko fight, it’s something to behold.”
